1. The tyre structure characteristics
The angle between the orientation of cord thread in the cord fabric of radial truck tyre and its radial cross section is 0 degree, which also means the angle between the former one and the center line of tread is 90 degrees.
The cord thread is arranged in the very similar way as the meridian line of the world (the longitude), that's how the radial truck tyre gets its name. In order to withstand the great tangential force generated in driving, the belt ply, also called hard buffer layer or banding layer, which has advantages of multiple layers, big angle (the angle with the radial cross section is 70 to 75 degrees), high strength and being difficult to be stretched is applied in the radial truck tyre to intensify the crown of tyre. It is like a rigid hoop banded tightly around the tyre. The radial truck tyre has a wide cross section, and the ratio of height to breadth (H/B) of the section is 0.7 or so.
2. Performance features
Comparing to common diagonal tyres, the radial mining truck tyre has advantages of large elasticity, good abrasion resistance (the service life is 30% to 50% longer), small rolling resistance (the fuel consumption can be lowered by 8% or so), great adhesion property (it is not likely to skid in muddy and floppy road surfaces), high carrying capacity and puncture resistance and excellent buffer property.Thanks to the tyres, drivers of watering cart will have a more smooth driving experience.
If drivers want to equip their vehicles with the tyre, it would be better to replace all old tyres with this one, or use the tyre only in rear axle. However, it is not allowed to use the tyre in front axle and common diagonal tyre in rear axle. Also, the radial truck tyre cannot be used with the common diagonal tyre in the same axle. In use, it should be inflated strictly in accordance with the standard air pressure. There are also other tips. For example, under-inflated tyre is not allowed to use; when turning, the speed should be kept low; don't brake too hard.
